Primary Format: 4x5.
Almost Primary Format: 35mm.
Photographic Interests: The landscapes of the Colorado
Plateau, especially Grand Canyon, Glen Canyon / Lake Powell, Vermilion
Cliffs, Bryce Canyon and
those with strong geologic themes.
I prefer images with simple, geometric structures that are made
where other photographers rarely go or where others go but have
somehow overlooked the wonderful. To find these images I’ve
spent over a year on the river in Grand Canyon, a year and a
half on the trails of Grand Canyon and many months on the slickrock
routes that surround Lake Powell.

I’m especially
fond of rocks, cosmology and suspension bridges. Opera, I’m
convinced, should be banned from the planet.
